Members of L’Arche Boston North to participate in Buddy Walk
On October 8th, several of our community members will be teaming up to participate in the Massachusetts Down Syndrome Congress’s 21st Annual Buddy Walk. Team “Get Real” consists of community members John, Katie, Devin, Christine, Meghan and Jim. Assistants will also be participating in the walk and supporting our team.
This walk takes place every year to support over five thousand families who have a family member with Down Syndrome in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
We appreciate your support as our team will be joined by over three thousand people to raise funds for the MDSC. Contributions will also help programs and services such as Advocates in Motion and advocacy on both the local and national level.

To support our team the day of the event, the Buddy Walk will take place at Lake Quannapowitt in Wakefield, MA on Sunday October 8th, 2017. Registration and pre-walk festivities begin at noon and the walk will start at 1:30pm, rain or shine.
