The same mission and lived experience of L’Arche is expressed in unique diverse ways that reflect the culture, religious practices, and social-economic characteristics of the places in which each community exists.

L’Arche Charter
The L’Arche International Charter, adopted in 2023, brings together voices from L’Arche communities around the world to express all that unites us, calling our members to our mission to make known the gifts of people with intellectual disabilities revealed through mutually transforming relationships.
Solidarity
Those in L’Arche, domestically and internationally, share a responsibility for one another and are committed to fostering a world in which we all belong. Being in solidarity with one another allows us to unify our communities by recognizing the realities of our inherent differences as well as the common humanity that we share.
